As the ancient ones slumber, the tombs and cities remain unoccupied. The wind howls and eats away the emptied structures. You walk upon this forgotten utopia. You find the monolith that overlooks the barren land. As you stare into the darkest shadows, the songs and stories of the lost city are beginning to leak and infect your psyche. The more your mind breaks and reality fades away, the more beautiful each note of the siren song sounds...

VA:10 Association’s latest project, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of Skeleton’s first self-titled album, is finally here. We have collaborated on this momentous occasion to bring forth another generation of ambient and dark stories of the ancients. We hope you enjoy the project.

I have had some dreams more real than actual memories, and this album makes me feel like they could actually come to life someday. There's an addictive element to the music similar to the buzz you get from jamming scissors into a wall socket (kids, don't try this at home 😉). The atmosphere of the album is one of a better world than I'll likely ever know - I feel optimistic energy and melancholy all at once. Talented musician, terrific label. I'll stop now. Scott
